Roel De la Garza

I am an 8th grade Reading Language Arts (RLA) teacher with 22 years of experience in education. My passion for teaching is matched by my love for all things tech, which I eagerly integrate into my classroom to enhance learning. Outside of school, I am a proud husband and father of two young boys who keep life exciting. Throughout my career, I have taken on several leadership roles, including serving as the ELA department head, RAAD Leader, and tech leader on campus. I have also been honored as Teacher of the Year. These experiences have shaped my teaching philosophy and commitment to fostering a dynamic, engaging learning environment for my students.
